Introduction:
In the semi-conductor factories, there are so many equipments should be monitored. In this case, we got to integrate more than 15 Mitsubishi PLC and Omron PLC and the poison gas equipment which called UP100. The SCADA system is Honeywell EBI (Enterprise Building Integrator). In this case, we got to design the UP-100 OPC Server. |

Conclusions:
In the high technology factories, there are so many equipments should be integrated. In the central control room, the operators could watch the screen of the SCADA and understand all of the status of the equipments. It’s impossible for the SCADA to support all of the drivers. This is why we need our customers provided the device communication protocol to us and design the OPC server for integration. OPC server becomes a powerful middleware to integrate SCADA and programming language. |
