Generate Electric Power Solutions Research

Project Introduction:

My customer want to make a research for the “generate electric power by water ”, “generate electric power by wind” and “generate electric power by gas ”. All of these three systems were using Allen Bradley SLC 500 series PLC to control the equipments. We also need to use iFix SCADA to monitor and control the PLC and generate the analyzed report. iFix SCADA is a famous products by the GE company. It’s stable and easy to use. This is why my customer appointed to use it.

System Requirement:

1 set IFix SCADA

1 set OPCTechs AB SLC OPC Server

3 sets Allen Bradley PLC

Conclusions:

Nearly all of the SCADA do not have the useful report module. We system integrator should use more than five SCADA for the different kind of customers. The report modules are different and nobody will spend time to learn all. These is why we use OPC Server to link with SCADA and our report module which designed by VB programming language.
